Sheffield, The Jessop Hospital, for Women

HOSPITALS were a building type in which Webster had a special interest, his work including the Jessop Hospital for Women (1878), the Medical School, Leopold Street (1888), additions to the Royal Infirmary for the Outpatients Dept. and Nurses Home and the Children' s Hospital, Western Bank (1902). He was one of the founders of the latter and served as chairman of its management committee.
