Victoria Street/Temple Court

Liverpool, Victoria St/Temple Court

This curved block has a rainwater head bearing the date 1831and is a survival from before the creation of Victoria Street in the 1860s. It belongs to an earlier programme of street improvements, when a number of tight corners in the town centre were rebuilt in this way to ease the flow of traffic.
