The Pevsner Books Trust is a charity (reg. no. 1042101) which raises funds for research for the new editions of the Pevsner Architectural Guides and promotes the study and conservation of buildings. The Trust can benefit from Gift Aid and the Revenue will add 28p to every £1 contributed in this way. The Looking at Buildings website was launched in 2001 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Pevsner Architectural Guides. The site was supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Buildings Books Trust with the aim of developing new audiences for understanding and enjoying the built environment. In 2008 the site was comprehensively redesigned and relaunched.

qedStudio (http://www.qedstudio.com [4]) was appointed as the web agency for the 2008 redevelopment and ongoing management of the Looking at Buildings website.  qedStudio specialises in accessible and intelligent web design and content management for the cultural heritage, higher education and not-for-profit sectors.
